THOUGHTS:
I made Claire to go with my husband's Leon cosplay. There are some components of this costume I'm super happy with because I feel they show my improvement in costume making. Namely the painting on the back of the vest, the pouch itself, and the knife holster. All the same, I'm not sure I really suit Claire. If I made another RE cosplay it will probably be Ada.

CONSTRUCTION:
-The vest was made using a McCall's pattern, The red is a denim-like material with metal buttons. The design was painted on the back with acrylic paint. The knife holster was made out of brown pleather with bead "studs."
-The wig is from Purple Plum, cut and styled by me.
-The pouch/belt was made from upholstery velvet and really can be used to hold things. It features bead studs, hand-made fringe, and a metal buckle.
-The boots, shorts, sunglasses, and gloves were purchased.
-The shirt and tights were purchased and modified.
