DATE COMPLETED:
-October 2016

THOUGHTS:
-My husband had been trying to get me to cosplay from Magic for years. I finally agreed to make a Liliana to match his Jace after the Eldritch Moon designs were released. I'm a sucker for elegant gothic designs and Liliana was all that and more.

PHOTOGRAPHERS:
-Clouds Photography: https://www.facebook.com/cloudsofsandphotography/

CONSTRUCTION:
-Headdress was made out of EVA foam and painted with acrylics.

-Wig was from Arda wigs and was my first lace-front wig.

-Neckpiece was made from purple shantung with hand-sewn gold chain detailing.

-Cape was made of purple velour and trimmed with hand-sewn faux fur. Because of the weight, the cape was made separate from the bodice and looped around the chest on a gold cord.

-Bodice was made using purple polyester shantung and lined with purple cotton. The lace trim was hand sewn on. The bright white of the lace was very obvious against the dark materials of the rest of the costume, so I hand-accented the lace with purple iridescent beads to make it blend in better with the rest of the outfit.

-I interpreted the midsection of Liliana's design as a waist cincher, which I made out of shantung with a velour center panel. The lacing in the front was black leather cord and I hand-sewed the gold chain detail onto the sides.

-Gloves and bootcovers were made from the purple and black stretch pleather from cosplayfabrics.com.

-Belt was made from pleather left over from Morrigan, which I studded.

-Chain Veil was made painstakingly out of lots and lots of jump rings.

-Skirt was made out of more shantung.

AWARDS:
