THOUGHTS:
- Since Tsuyu's super power is being, well, a frog, I was thrilled that we had a chance to shoot at the outdoor fountains at MagFest without everything being frozen. The stony features made a perfect backdrop for her fantasy costume. Beautiful and comfortable, this outfit ended up becoming my favorite costume I crafted in 2018.

CONSTRUCTION:
-This costume was made using a Burda dirndl pattern and adjusting the color scheme to match Tsuyu's artwork. I chose natural fibers to keep the fantasy feel, so the shirt and apron are cotton and the skirt is linen. Since my fabric store only stocks red and white stripe fabric at Christmastime, I sewed strips of lace to the red linen create the lines. The flower embroidery began as an embroidered mesh that I cut apart and then hand sewed the individual pieces to the finished garments. To trim the bodice I made a beaded rosette ribbon embellishment, as suggested by the original Burda pattern.

-Stockings and boots were reused from other costumes
