THOUGHTS:
-When Cut/Sew announced their Memory Lame collection of retro anime patterns I knew I wanted to make this outfit. In comparison to Sakura's other magical girl costumes, her black cat design is a bit plain, so I decided to add a little more magic by using glittered fabric for the apron and sewing beads and lace to the edges of the dress.

CONSTRUCTION:
-Dress made from black stretch cotton sateen. I sewed lace to the edges- then went through and hand-sewed pink glass beads for more sparkle. The bell was simply tied around my neck with a ribbon to make it removable for washing.
-Apron made from pink glitter cotton. The bow features a stuffed fleece cat tail and bells at the ends.
-Ears were made from black and pink fleece and attached to a headband
-Wig purchased from The Five Wits
-Stockings, boots, and petticoat were purchased.
