THOUGHTS:
-I started Dragon Age Origins after hearing my friends rave about it. I loved the detailed lore and compelling characters. I chose to cosplay Morrigan because she was such a departure from the characters I usually cosplay and I wanted to challenge myself with new techniques such as using foam and pleather.

CONSTRUCTION:
-The glove and armband were made of black spandex and brown pleather.
-Cowl was made out of maroon suiting with laces in the back. The pauldron was made of pleather with nail-polish painted foam "feather" accents. The sleeve is made of black spandex. Both the sleeve and pauldron were attached to the cowl with elastic to hold them in place.
-The armwarmer was made out of hand-dyed cotton knit with pleather accents.
-Bikini top was made out of hand-dyed cotton knit with spandex ties, built-in bra cups, and hand-sewn glass bead detailing.
-Skirt was made out of pleather with hand-stitched white detailing. The belt was made out of the same pleather and lined with faux fur.
-Wig was purchased from a beauty supply shop years ago and re-purposed for this costume.
-Necklace and bracelets were made of foam with velcro closure.
-Boots and leggings were purchased.
